This procurement Sole Source for the following reason: The Formaspace ESD Worksurfaces were specifically designed to meet the unique requirements of performing work on the Seal Delivery Vehicle (SDV) MK8 and MK11. These work surfaces have the proper functionality, necessary features and will accommodate the increased workflow for the electronics technician. As such, only the Formaspace ESD worksurface can meet the Governments requirements. As these are custom benches, they are only available from the manufacturer.
