|
Hillsborough County intends to recommend the award of a noncompetitive purchase to Sara Zydowicz, M.D., in the amount of $30,000.00, for a one (1) year period, for locum tenens forensic pathology services in the Hillsborough County Medical Examiner’s Office. This procurement is being made in accordance with the County’s Procurement Policy Section 3-208 (32), because Dr. Sara Zydowicz is a Board-Certified Pathologist, practicing in the State of Florida, and has extensive knowledge of Florida Statue Section 406.11, which governs what cases fall under the jurisdiction of the Medical Examiner Department. Additionally, Dr. Zydowicz will be performing autopsies, corpse examination, reviewing casework, signing examiner reports, and their services will support the provide coverage to keep up with the current workflow requirements of the Medical Examiner’s Office. The County reserves the right to extend the time period further, adjust the scope of services in response to changing conditions and updated requirements, and increase the resulting award accordingly.
