UPDATE: This RFI is to include more specific specifications from the original one that expired 15 November 2023.
This is a Request for Information (RFI). This notice is for informational purposes only; a solicitation will not be issued at this time. No contract will be awarded on the basis of quotes received in response to this notice. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 331221 wtih a small business size standard of 1,000 employees. This is an RFI and NOT a request for compeitive quotations; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement or market research quotation. Below are the four items we would be looking for. Steel Grade: Grade 50: Yield strength - 50,000 psi
Coil Width: 23.5 inches to 24 inches - optimum is 23.75 inches
Coil Diameter: Maximum outside diameter: 40 in. Inside diameter: 19 - 24 in.
Coil Weight: Maximum: 5,000 U.S. lbs (2,270 kg)
Thickness: 0.026 to 0.040 in.
Siliconized Polyester Paint, COLONY RED
