The Naval Supply (NAVSUP) Systems Command, Fleet Logistics Center

Jacksonville (FLCJ), FL intends to issue a sole source award utilizing

Simplified Acquisition Procedures to VESTDAVIT, INC. for Boat Davit

Foot Hinge Assemblies. VESTDAVIT, INC. is the soles source provider

of new assemblies and components for the 5083-H111 Boat Davit Foot Hinges.

VESTDAVIT also provides service and repairs for said equipment. There are no

authorized 3rd parties for any new equipment or service and repairs.

An award to any other source would jeopardize compatibility with existing

equipment and/or would result in substantial duplication of cost or

additional cost to the Government that is not expected to be recovered

through competition, in addition to unacceptable delays in meeting the

Government requirements.

The applicable North American Industrial Classification System Code

(NAICS) code that these items fall under is 333923, with a size standard of

1,250 employees. The notice of intent is for information purposes only.

This notice does not constitute a request for a proposal, request for quote

or an invitation to bid. All sources eligible to provide the requirement

must respond in writing. Responses must be supported with clear and

convincing evidence to clearly articulate the ability to provide this

requirement as outlined above.

A request for documentation will not be considered as an affirmative

response. If no responses are received, within two (2) calendar days after

publication of this notice, to the effect that comparable items are

available, and that this is more advantageous to the Government than

obtaining this product through a sole source contract, then a sole source

acquisition award will be made.
