NASA/Kennedy Space Center (KSC) has a requirement for a Storage Facility to house items being relocated from the Vehicle Assembly Building (VAB). The Storage Facility shall be located within the boundaries of KSC, at a pre-defined Site adjacent to K6-1547, the Logistics Facility. The Storage Facility shall meet the salient characteristics listed in the attached Statement of Need.
The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12.
Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort electronically via email to Kristal.kerr@nasa.gov not later than 5:00 P.M. EST on January 31, 2024. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this acquisition on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this acquisition as a total small business set aside, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
