Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Patuxent River, Maryland, has awarded a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) order N00019-23-F-0678 to Mnemonics, Inc. (MNI), Melbourne, Florida, to procure the production of Radio Frequency Blanking Units (RFBUs) for FY23. This order was issued under and pursuant to Indefinite-Delivery-Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract N00019-23-D-0021 in support of F/A-18E/F and EA-18G aiframe change modification kits. This effort was procured under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(a)(1) and implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Type of Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements." As the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and developer of the RFBU, only MNI has the manufacturing knowledge, experience, facilities, and technical data required to fulfill this requirement in the time required.
