This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 12.6, “Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items,” as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested, and a written solicitation document will not be issued.
This solicitation is a request for proposal (RFP).
The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 238910, with a small business size standard of $19M. The project site is located at the 125th Fighter Wing (FW) Jacksonville International Airport, Duval County, Florida (FL). The primary purpose of this project is to demolish and remove Building 1043 (C26 Barn) structure. The structure has sustained wind damage from previous storm events and repair is not a feasible option due to its age, the derogated structural integrity of the steel, and the cost to repair. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and quality control necessary, except as specified in Paragraph 3.0 as Government Furnished, to perform the service of the demolition and removal of debris of metal aircraft shelter, to include the empty metal storage bins located under the shelter. Location of the C26 Barn is in a controlled area. The Government will provide an escort 100 percent of the time. The contractor CANNOT work without an escort. Work shall be accomplished in accordance with the attached PWS.

Period of Performance: 90 calendar days after award
The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Priced purchase award as a result of this combined synopsis/solicitation that will include the terms and conditions set forth herein.
