Description:

The City of Fort Pierce is seeking qualified contractors to dry flood proof an wood frame structure. This work includes but is not limited to the installation of approved flood gates on openings below the DFE, floodproofing exterior walls using prescribed impervious materials, installation of a drainage sump pit and pump, elevating all electrical outlets and equipment above the DFE and installing a generator above the DFE. This work will be accomplished under the direction of an architect who has provided a signed and sealed flood mitigation plan, which delineates the entire scope of work.
