NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Lake Wales is accepting sealed bids for:

LAKE WALES TOURIST CLUB BUILDING

BATHROOM RENOVATIONS

At 2:00 P.M., prevailing time, on Tuesday, February 20, 2024 in the City Commission Chambers at the Municipal Administration Building, 201 Central Ave. W., Lake Wales, Florida, bids will be opened and read aloud.

An original, two (2) copies and (1) electronic copy on flash drive of all bids, including all executed documents and needed attachments, shall be placed in a sealed envelope, with label from page 2 of this solicitation affixed and delivered prior to the opening deadline, 2:00 P.M., prevailing time on Tuesday, February 20, 2024.

Intent

The City of Lake Wales is seeking a qualified contractor to renovate the Men’s and Women’s Bathrooms at Lake Wales Tourist Club Building per Plans Responding to the Invitation to Bid.

Pre-Bid Meeting and Questions

Non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will take place at 11:00 am on Monday, February 12, 2024 at the City of Lake Wales Tourist Club, 205 N Fifth Street, Lake Wales, FL 33853. Access to the project site will be available after the pre-bid meeting. Interested bidders will have granted access into the Tourist Club Building. No project questions will be entertained at this time. All questions must be placed in writing as outlined in the bid documents. Questions deadline will be on Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at 5:00 pm.

Responding to the Invitation to Bid

All persons and firms wishing to submit bids must obtain a complete copy of the Invitation to Bid and submit all required forms as outlined in the solicitation document with their response.
