NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Lake Wales is accepting sealed bids for:
Scenic Highway Gateway Corridor Fencing
At 2:00 P.M., Prevailing Time on Thursday, January 18, 2024 in the City Commission Chambers at the Municipal Administration Building, 201 Central Ave. W., Lake Wales, Florida, bids will be opened and read aloud.
An original, two (2) copies, and a digital copy on a USB drive of all bids, including all executed documents and needed attachments, shall be placed in a sealed envelope, marked “ITB 23-528: SEALED BID FOR SCENIC HIGHWAY GATEWAY CORRIDOR FENCING”, and delivered prior to the opening deadline, 2:00 P.M., Prevailing Time on Thursday, January 18, 2024.
Intent
The City of Lake Wales is seeking a qualified contractor provide and install approximately 340 Linear Feet of fencing adjacent to the East side of the RR tracks within the City of Lake Wales, see attached mapping for approximate locations. Please provide within the bid the specific type of fencing to be provided with specifications regarding the fencing. The fencing must be 6 (six) feet in height and black resembling the picture in the attached documents. Also, provide a unit cost per linear foot of fence installed, as noted the distance is approximate. Also, attach the Total Cost based upon 340 linear feet of fencing installed along with an example contract.
Responding to the Invitation to Bid
All persons and firms wishing to submit bids must obtain a complete copy of the Invitation to Bid and submit all required forms as outlined in the bid document with their response. Bids and related forms can be accessed on the City’s website, www.lakewalesfl.gov: Departments: Purchasing, or by contacting Cynthia Monk at cmonk@lakewalesfl.gov
