INVITATION TO BID

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Lake Wales is accepting sealed bids for

GENERATOR REPAIR, PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE AND LOAD BANK TESTING

At 10:00 A.M., EST on Monday, October 31, 2022 in the City Commission Chambers at the

Municipal Administration Building, 201 Central Ave. W., Lake Wales, Florida, bids will be opened and read

aloud.

An original and two (2) copies of all bids, including all executed documents and needed attachments, shall

be placed in a sealed envelope, marked “22-514R: SEALED BID FOR Generator repair, preventative maintenance and

load bank testing”, and delivered prior to the opening deadline, 10:00 A.M., EST on October 31, 2022.

Staff will be available to answer any questions and will conduct site visits to the facilities upon request.

A non-mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at the City of Lake Wales, City Commission Chambers located

at 201 Central Avenue West, Lake Wales, Florida, on Monday October 24, 2022 at 10:00 A.M. Question

deadline will be October 25,2022, with the final addendum to post October 26, 2022.

Intent

The City desires to obtain a yearly contract with a qualified vendor to perform maintenance and repair services on all

city generators.

Responding to the Invitation to Bid

All persons and firms wishing to submit bids must obtain a complete copy of the Invitation to Bid and submit all

required forms as outlined in the bid document with their response. Bids and related forms can be accessed on the City’s

Faxed or e-mailed responses will not be accepted. Responses may be hand delivered, mailed, or delivered via
