NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Lake Wales is accepting sealed bids for:
Scenic Highway Gateway Corridor Fencing
At 2:00 P.M., Prevailing Time on Tuesday, April 4, 2023in the City Commission Chambers at the Municipal Administration Building, 201 Central Ave. W., Lake Wales, Florida, bids will be opened and read aloud.
An original, two (2) copies, and a digital copy on a USB drive of all bids, including all executed documents and needed attachments, shall be placed in a sealed envelope, marked “ITB 23-528: SEALED BID FOR SCENIC HIGHWAY GATEWAY CORRIDOR FENCING”, and delivered prior to the opening deadline, 2:00 P.M., Prevailing Time on Tuesday, April 4, 2023.
Intent
The City of Lake Wales is seeking a qualified contractor provide and install approximately 930 Linear Feet of fencing adjacent to both sides of the RR tracks within the City of Lake Wales, see attached mapping for approximate locations. Please provide within the bid the specific type of fencing to be provided with specifications regarding the fencing. The fencing must be 5 (five) feet in height and black resembling the picture in the attached documents. Also, provide a unit cost per linear foot of fence installed, as noted the distance is approximate. Also, attach the Total Cost based upon 930 linear feet of fencing installed along with an example contract. The stakeout of the fence locations will be by others.
Responding to the Invitation to Bid
All persons and firms wishing to submit bids must obtain a complete copy of the Invitation to Bid and submit all required forms as outlined in the bid document with their response.
