Addendum Two adds Microsoft Teams capability to pre-bid meeting.
This project consists of site improvements on city owned property on Martin Luther King Jr. Drive. These improvements include the modification of a dry retention stormwater pond, sidewalk, lighting, landscaping, vertical construction of a new 1,835 sf addition and all associated utility and mechanical services for the building to house and expand the existing Flight Academy. This will also create a much-needed expansion for the existing museum and support services.
The proposed improvements will be built to meet all applicable standards and specifications of the City of Pensacola, Emerald Coast Utility Authority (ECUA), Northwest Florida Water Management District (NWFWMD), the Army Corps of Engineers (ACOE), and the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP). Coordination with existing utilities will be required for potential relocation. This project is funded by an African American Historical and Cultural grant from the State of Florida, attached to this project manual as Appendix C. Bidders shall familiarize themselves with all grant provisions to ensure compliance. In particular, the Contractor shall:

Provide photographic documentation of the Project activity to the City in accordance Section 9, iii of the Grant Agreement and as described in the Guidelines for Submitting Photographic Documentation:

Prior to the start of construction, install and photograph the temporary acknowledgement sign required by the Grant Agreement per Section 10.a.
By responding to this bid, bidders hereby acknowledge and accept their obligation to fully comply with all grant terms as a material requirement of this contract.
A parking area exists and available on-site, adjacent on the street, and there is shared parking with Mt. Canaan Baptist Church.
The facility will remain operational during construction.
