Description:

SCOPE OF WORK

BAYVIEW PARK DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS & REPAIRS

Bayview Park has soils that are highly susceptible to erosion and sediment transport. This is evidenced by the existing erosion/washouts issues onsite. This project involves the construction of 280 linear feet of 12-inch storm drainpipe with 4 inlets to collect stormwater runoff and convey it safely to an existing inlet. The three existing terraces will be improved by adding fill to provide a consistent height to the terraces. In addition, some depressions/washouts will be filled and stabilized. All areas disturbed by construction will be sodded with the addition of 6 inches of topsoil as well as additional existing bare areas at the site.

All grade work and elevations shall reflect the design information provided in the construction plans. All proposed line and grade work shall be approved by the City Inspector.

Contractor shall devise a method to ensure all sod placed is properly watered and maintained until permanently rooted/established to the satisfaction of the City.

Care shall be exercised to not cause any damage to adjacent infrastructure being left in-place during reconstruction. Any such damage shall be the responsibility of the contractor.

All work shall be in accordance with the standards and specifications of the City of Pensacola.
