The City of Boca Raton, Florida is accepting sealed bids for the above.
Construction services for the repair and replacement of boardwalk decking and structures including associated piling work where necessary. Construction will include various types of decks throughout the City of Boca Raton comprised of pressure treated material, Ipe (also known as Brazilian hardwood) decking and composite materials. All decking projects are required to be ADA compliant.
The work includes furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, services and incidentals for the as needed repairs and replacement of decking throughout facilities owned by the City of Boca Raton.
The term contract will be a five (5) year initial term, with three (3) one-year renewals options. The City will issue separate Work Orders for each individual project on an as-needed basis.
The City is not required to issue any Work Orders hereunder. The maximum value of Work Orders issued under this Contract for award to the Contractor shall not exceed the maximum cumulative value of $1,000,000, per each annual period, as may be increased subject to the approval of the City Manager or City Council as provided for in the City of Boca Raton Code of Ordinances.
All interested parties are invited to attend a non-mandatory virtual pre-bid conference on February 21, 2024 at 10:00 am which will be held as a Go To Meeting. Instructions for attending the Go To Meeting are detailed in Exhibit CMT of the Bid document. Bidders are urged to be prompt and familiarized with the bid documents. The pre-bid is not mandatory.
