Description:

This sale is an unmarked third-row logger select thinning of 20-year-old longleaf pine on approximately 29 acres. The purchaser will leave 30-50 square feet of Basal Area per acre of the largest, best formed trees in the residual stand. The logging slash will be scattered back through the stand. The DISTRICT PROJECT MANAGER will routinely assess the timber harvest to ensure the objectives are being met.
