All bids shall be submitted in duplicate (one original and five copies) in sealed envelopes/packages addressed to the Management Services Department and marked "BID. NO.23-05; South Adams Street Sidewalk Project". Any bids received after the designated date will be returned unopened.
Bidders desiring copies of the bid document for use in preparing a bid proposal may obtain a set of such documents by emailing Georgette Daniels or Pheshe Bennett at gdaniels@gadsdencountyfl.gov or pbennett@gadsdencountyfl.gov or by contacting the Procurement Office at 5-B East Jefferson Street, Room 204, Quincy, Florida 32351, Telephone 850) 627-4053.
MANDATORY PRE-BID CONFERENCE will be held at the Gadsden County Public Works Office, 1284 High Bridge Road, Quincy, Florida –Tuesday, October 17, 2023, 10:00 A.M. Eastern Standard Time (EST). Bidders are required to attend to be eligible to bid on the project.
Bids will be received until 10:00 a.m. (EST) on Tuesday, October 31, 2023, at the Gadsden County Procurement Office 5B East Jefferson Street, Room 204, Quincy, Florida 32351, and will be opened and evaluated on Tuesday, October 31, 2023, at 11:05 a.m. (EST) at the County Administrator’s Conference Room at 9B East Jefferson Street, Quincy, Florida 32351.
The County reserves the right to accept or reject all bids and waive any technicalities or irregularities therein. The County further reserves the right to award the agreement to those proposers whose qualifications best comply with the specifications. Proposers may withdraw their proposal by notifying the County in writing at any time prior to the deadline for proposal submittal. After the deadline, the proposal will constitute an irrevocable offer for a period of sixty (60) days. Once opened, proposals become a record of the County and will not be returned to the proposer.
