The Gadsden County Board of County Commissioners is seeking sealed bids from qualified person, company or corporation interested in providing construction services for the following project:

The Gadsden County Board of County Commissioners is seeking sealed bids from qualified persons, companies, or corporations interested in providing construction services for the referenced project at the intersection of Barack Obama Blvd. and Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. located in Quincy, Florida. The project is approximately 2200 linear feet and includes the following: Minor Grading, Concrete Median, Curb and Gutter, Sidewalks, Signing, and Pavement Markings.

A Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting will be held at 1 p.m. (EST), Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at the Growth Management Conference Room at 1-B East Jefferson Street, Quincy, Florida 32351

All Bids must be submitted in duplicate (one original and three copies) in a sealed envelope/package addressed to the Management Services Department and marked " RE-B.I.D. NO. 24-04 Barack Obama Blvd at Martin Luther King Blvd – Roundabout Improvements”. Any Bid received after the designated date will be returned unopened.
Information regarding this Bid may be obtained from the Management Services Department located at 5-B East Jefferson Street, Quincy, FL 32351, via email at procurement@gadsdencountyfl.gov and on the County’s website at www. gadsdencountyfl.gov . Bids will be received until 10 a.m. EST on Tuesday, March 19, 2024 , at the Gadsden County Management Services Department, Room 204, 5-B East Jefferson Street, Quincy, Florida 32351. Bids will be opened and read aloud on Tuesday, March 19, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. EST at the Growth Management Conference Room at 1-B East Jefferson Street, Quincy, Florida 32351.
The Bid will be awarded to the lowest responsive bidder.
All Bids shall remain firm for 60 days after the opening. All bidders shall comply with all applicable State and local laws concerning licensing, registration, and regulation of contractors doing business in the State of Florida.
The County reserves the right to accept or reject any and all Bid and to waive any technicalities or irregularities therein. The County further reserves the right to award the agreement to that bidder whose Bid best complies with the specifications.

Bidders may withdraw their Bid by notifying the County in writing at any time before the bid submission deadline.

After the deadline, the Bid will constitute an irrevocable offer for 60 days. Once opened, bids become a record of the County and will not be returned to the bidders. EEO/AA
