The intent of this project, is to obtain design build services for phase 1 planning, design, construction, and operation focused on the concept of a transitional container park ("Park") on the approximately 1 to 1.5-acre space between the Lauderhill Performing Arts Center (“LPAC”) and the adjacent vacant parking lot to the south, depicted as the “Project Study Area” in the “Site Analysis” page of the attached Parc Square Community Park Preliminary Concept packet, attached hereto as Exhibit “A”. Proposers must use the concepts provided on pages 12 and 13 within Exhibit “A” as a point of reference and as a guide in formulating architectural designs and site plans as part of their proposal. Proposers should refer to Utility Map attached hereto as Exhibit “B” as a reference to utility locations on the site. Planning shall include connectivity between existing access and internal pedestrian circulation to ensure pedestrian safety and uniformity within and between the Project Study Area and the LPAC. Design should include secured access to the site and an enhanced landscape buffer from the vacant parking lot with line of sight to the LPAC maintained.

Joint ventures for the planning, design, construction and operation of the site will be accepted as part of this RFP. The City desires to own those containers designated "for City Ownership", while lease to own or similar structures will be considered for the remaining container units.
