This is a notification that the City of Deerfield Beach intends to award the purchase of radio equipment for Water Plant Operations to Blackburn Controls Incorporated (BCI Technologies) is the sole authorized dealer for parts and services for General Electric Industrial Communications (GE INDC). This includes radios the city currently owns and operates at its West water treatment plant. The radio units are components for SCADA/telemetry communications with off-site equipment such as raw water production wells and storage tanks. Prospective vendors are asked to provide information regarding their ability to provide the products and services described herein. Vendors who believe that they can provide the products and services of the same or greater quality and compatibility that will produce the same or greater results for the City shall submit such evidence in their response attachments by the due date of this sole source notification.
