This is a notification that the City of Deerfield Beach intends to award the purchase of Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) units and supporting hardware for Water Plant Operations to AWC, Inc. AWC, Inc. is the sole source factory authorized supplier of Siemens Automation in the State of Florida. The Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) units are components for SCADA/telemetry communications with off-site equipment such as raw water production wells and storage tanks. Prospective vendors are asked to provide information regarding their ability to provide the products and services described herein. Vendors who believe that they can provide the products and services of the same or greater quality and compatibility that will produce the same or greater results for the City shall submit such evidence in their response attachments by the due date of this sole source notification.
