Wharton-Smith is the Construction Manager at Risk who is soliciting proposals and assuring that MBE and WBE firms are used, when possible, for the City of Punta Gorda Wastewater Treatment Plant Improvements 2022. A non-mandatory pre-bid is not scheduled at this time but can be arranged if there is interest among the bidding parties. If you are interested in viewing the jobsite, please request a site tour prior to close of questions. Site address is Punta Gorda WWTP, 30999 Bermont Road, Punta Gorda, FL 33982. This scope of work is scheduled to bid on March 3, 2023 @ 10:00 AM EST. Sealed bids are to include the Bid Number 22-055 and the vendor name and address on the outside of the envelope/container. Bidders who obtain Solicitation Packages from other sources other than www.pgorda.com must: 1) be a registered vendor at the above referenced website (registration is free); and 2) officially register receipt of the solicitation with the City’s Procurement Division, at the website mentioned above, by viewing the Online Solicitation. This will place the Bidder on the notification list for any forthcoming addenda or other official communications.
